These are the Best Bars for Day-Drinking in Rockford

When someone asks me what I do for a living and I tell them I'm a morning radio personality, the first thing they ask is, "what time do you have to get up in the morning?" If you really want to know, it's 3:30 on a good day and most days it's not later than 4 a.m.

That answer is generally followed up with a lot of sympathy and pats on the back with words like, "wow, I feel sorry for you; I can barely get out of bed at 6:30."

Look, don't feel sorry for me. There is a plus side to getting up that early, I'm typically done with work by 11 a.m. and the rest of the day is my oyster. While you're working, I'm working out, shopping and sleeping. I would be drinking but there's no one to drink with, because y'all are at work.
