Online sportsbook Bet US started the baseball season looking for a "Wiener Connoisseur" to find the most gigantic hot dog in Major League Baseball.

They were looking for someone who "has a strong opinion about grilled vs. boiled dogs, is well-versed in the world of wieners, and smiles at the idea of a literal sausage fest."

The application process closed, and one lucky soul traveled to all 32 Major League stadiums to try their hot dogs.

At the top of the list was the massive Boomstick Hot Dog, which measured a monster 24 inches and cost a paltry $32.96.

A little further down the list, and I mean at the bottom, the Milwaukee Brewers are tied with the Miami Marlins, Cleveland Guardians, San Francisco Giants, Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Washington Nationals, Detroit Tigers, and Minnesota Twins for selling the smallest hot dog checking in at a measly six inches.

That said, the Brewers offer something called the Dog of the North, which Bet US described as "a riff on a loaded hot dog topped with apple kraut, yellow mustard, secret stadium sauce, jalapeno mayo, chopped bacon, and Bavarian sprinkles."

Former Chicago Cubs player Mark DeRosa called the Dog of the North "a damn good dog."

That's high praise, considering DeRo knows all Cubs fans will judge him for his positive remarks, but if the food is good, it's good.

DeRosa isn't alone, either. The food at Milwaukee's American Family Field has been named among the "10 best MLB stadiums for food" by USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards.

That should at least make up for the size of their hot dogs.
