Considering winning the Super Bowl is a once-in-a-lifetime event, you'd think more fans would take true love over winning the Lombardi Trophy.
Then again, it would fly in the face of the fandom that is being a tried and true Monster of the Midway.

As a Bears fan, a long-suffering one, I can see why some would instead take the Super Bowl and live with a lifetime of loneliness.
Wetten did the hard work and revealed some disturbing numbers, such as 48% of single football fans would rather their favorite team win the Super Bowl than find their person.
The Percentage of Bears Fans Willing to Give Up On Love to Win it All Is Kinda High
I'm not sure if that number says more about the current dating environment or if more teams need to have a chance to win the big game more often, but it is relatively high.

A little worse, 55% of Bears fans would rather be alone forever if it meant the beloved would win it all.
Luckily, the number dips below 50% across the state. Illinois as a whole was at 48%. They are still high, but less than Chicago Bears fans.
The Lowest Percentage of Fans Willing to Give Up Love For a Lombardi Trophy?
The team with the lowest number of fans willing to trade in genuine love for Super Bowl wins is the New England Patriots.
