Vin Diesel was in Los Angeles earlier this week for a screening of Furious 7. Before the movie began, Diesel gave an emotional speech honoring Paul Walker.

Walker died in a car accident in November of 2013. Furious 7 was filming at the time of his death.

Production on the film stopped for many weeks while the team dealt with the tragic loss of one of the stars of the film but to also try and figure out where the movie would go next.

Would they cancel it all together? Would they find a stand in?

The producers behind Furious 7 asked Walker's brothers to stand in in the scenes that Walker was supposed to be involved with and finished the movie.

Diesel who refers to Walker as "Pablo" and often as his "brother" on Facebook and other social media sites, seems to have been one of the most hard hit by his sudden passing.

Check out Diesel's tribute to Walker.

Furious 7 opens nationwide on Friday, April 3.
