What is Illinois’ Favorite TV Game Show?

Does the Land of Lincoln love Jeopardy!? What about Wheel of Fortune, or Family Feud? What's your favorite TV game show.

I am a game show lover. Just last night I watched the entire episode of Celebrity Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? on ABC and wished there was still a regular person version I could apply for.

When I was a tween I spent way too many hours watched the Game Show Network, catching rerun marathons of Supermarket Sweep and Lingo.

But none of those shows come close to my love for the two most quintessential American game shows, Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.

Can I pick a favorite? I would have to say Jeopardy! even though I'm much more likely to find myself as a contestant on Wheel. There's just something about the format and the quick buzzing of Jeopardy! that makes it my fave.

It's also the number one most popular TV game show in Illinois according to a new survey from Casinos Sweeps.

Wheel of Fortune doesn't even come in second!

That honor goes to Steve Harvey's mustache and Family Feud.

I get the appeal but Family Feud isn't in my top five. Neither are The Floor and American Ninja Warrior, but they round out the top five most popular game shows in Illinois.

Illinois is in line with the rest of the country, the National top five is identical to ours.
