Viral Yard Sale: White Sox Fan Spills Everything After Walk-Off HR

A couple of nights ago, the Chicago White Sox stunningly won a game, walking off the New York Mets with a dramatic home run.

The crowd was going wild. The player who hit the home run, Jake Rogers, was thrilled as he ran the bases, but the fan who ended up with the ball was next-level excited.

The Purse Explosion Heard 'Round the Internet

So excited, as she was jumping up and down with the ball in hand, she must’ve forgotten her purse was open, and the contents inside the bag went flying everywhere.

The fan, Emma Rodriguez, didn’t notice her keys, wallet, cash, change, and lip gloss were being emptied from her Coach bag.

A Worthy Trade: Autographed Gear for a Piece of History

The whole thing was caught on video and then went viral. If you’re wondering, Rodriguez did get all her stuff back and ended up with a signed bat, ball, jersey, and a thank-you note from Jake Rogers, the player who hit the home run.

Rodriguez gave the ball back to Rogers and got all that stuff in return. You know what? Coach needs to reach out and get her a new purse, or at least one that zips.
