Though I may not have kids of my own, I know all you parents out there are excited to make memories with your kids at all the fall festivals kicking off this week!

If you're looking for kid-friendly events to take your kids to this fall, there is a fun pumpkin festival kicking off this week for the 2022 season.

From local bands, to face painting, to giant corn mazes, to ziplining, and delicious opportunities to taste some fall-inspired desserts, take a trip this weekend! Saturday, September 17th, Windy Acres Farm will open to the public from 9am-6pm.

FALL PUMPKIN FESTIVAL AT WINDY ACRES FARM IN GENEVA, IL

This festival will be open for exactly 6 weeks - September 17th through Halloween day! Barn doors open at 9am, attractions open at 10am.

Your kiddos will be so excited to release some energy on the giant playground, play some Mini Golf, see Magic Shows, watch Reptile and Birds of Prey Shows, visit a Dairy Cow Exhibit, and so much more!

One of the coolest attractions there is the inflatable moonbounce area.

To be a kid again, I would be jumping in those bouncy castles all day long!

Mark your calendars, if you're trying to beat the crowds I would say wait until the week days to visit. Everybody and their mothers will be at the Fall Pumpkin Festival this weekend with the amount of love they received on Facebook!

There will even be a petting zoo, sports zone tether ball, life sized hamster wheels, and one of the cutest photo stations...

Oh yeah, I have no doubt every kid will be screaming when they see this. Moms were so excited about this minion on Facebook that it might be the biggest draw to this festival by far! Don't be surprised if there's a huge line to get a picture taken with it.

Luckily, there's no entry fee for the farm stand open air market, bakery or parking area. You will be able to walk amongst hundreds of pumpkins and gourds of all different shapes and sizes - time to decorate your front porch!
