
Winter Weather Advisory Results In Rockford School Closings This Afternoon
Snow is rolling through Rockford today, so many businesses and schools are closing early.
With 1 to 3 inches of snow expected, many schools aren't messing around with the bad weather and are closing up shop early today.
Better safe than sorry. Here's a list per WTVO:
- Amboy School District - Closing two hours early.
- Aquin Catholic Schools - Evening activities canceled.
- Ashton-Franklin Center Schools - Early dismissal, evening activities canceled.
- Berean Baptist Christian School - After-school activities canceled, extended daycare until 5:30 p.m.
- Bickford Senior Living - Spaghetti dinner postponed.
- CareerTEC Freeport - Afternoon classes canceled.
- Clinton, WI School District - All activities canceled. Board Meeting scheduled to go as planned.
- Dakota School District - No after-school activities.
- Durand School District - After-school activities canceled.
- Eastland School District - No after-school activities.
- Forrestville Valley Schools - After-school activities canceled.
- Harlem School District - After-school activities canceled.
- Hononegah School District - No after-school activities.
- Kishwaukee Community College - Closed at 3:30 p.m.
- North Boone School District - After-school activities canceled.
- Orangeville School District - No after-school activities.
- Rockford Public School District 205 - All after-school activities canceled.
- South Beloit School District - No after-school activities.
- Winnebago School District - After-school activities, Girls Basketball regional games to be rescheduled.
