Wisconsin Man Pleads Guilty, NINE TONS of Weed. Yes, NINE TONS!
Nine tons of marijuana was found on one man's property in Raymond, Wisconsin. So when you think of "nine tons" of something, it's maybe like a landfill, "nine tons" or garbage maybe? Scrap metal? But WEED??? patch
John Gay has been sentenced to seven years in prison, after authorities were alerted to his property. There might be a dude with some pot on his land, that was a huge understatement.
There's a search warrant, and the not well hidden NINE TONS of weed was found.
So there were additional some additional charges against Mr. gay but they were dropped, to apparently focus more on the nine tons on pot. There was a weapons charge, there was an intent to deliver thingy, but it comes down to getting nine tons of weed.
Here's the breakdown and other stuff found. The street value of the nine tons of pot is more than $7.2 million, also found was $120,000 in cash, firearms and records of his financial stuff.
All of the other charges were dropped (weapons, etc) just to focus in on the total amount of weed collected.
This one felony charge is enough and will keep dude locked up for quite a while.
I'm not sure where Raymond, Wi is but I did catch that it's a town of 3500 people. So I don't know how long this dude could really keep things hidden.
