Wrigley Field to Host College Volleyball for the First Time

Wrigley Field in Chicago is iconic for so many reasons.

It’s the home of the Cubs, and once home of the Bears. It has hosted professional hockey, as well as collegiate football contests, and some of the biggest musicians and entertainers have graced a stage while at Wrigley Field, but this has never happened before.

Nebraska vs Missouri and Penn State vs Kentucky Set for Wrigley

Wrigley Field is going to host college volleyball for the first time ever, coming up on Labor Day weekend, September 6.

That’s when the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Missouri Tigers will face off, followed by Penn State Nittany Lions and the Kentucky Wildcats.

TV Broadcast Details for Wrigley Volleyball Matches

Both games are scheduled to be on TV, airing on FOX at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Wrigley Field Volleyball Tickets Go on Sale April 9

Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 9, and there’s a good chance they’re gonna go quickly, considering this is another Wrigley Field first.
