You’re About to Have Even More Emoji Options

Oh emojis... the luxury of being able to say an entire emotion with one little face/image/eggplant/etc.  The days of ":)" seem like forever ago, I mean who has the energy to make your own smiley when you can decide from so many more smiley faces with every emotion imaginable?

Well, good news emoji lovers, Christmas came early.  Apple is releasing more than 70 new emojis with their new iOS 12.1 update.  Honorable mentions include ...

Ever gone to your emoji section and wished you could send your salty friend a salt shaker emoji?  Well, the wait is over for that one.  Apple explains,

More than 70 new emoji will be coming soon to iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, including new characters with red hair, gray hair and curly hair, a new emoji for bald people, more emotive smiley faces and additional emoji representing animals, sports and food. The new emoji are available in today’s developer and public beta previews of iOS 12.1, and will be available in upcoming software updates for iOS, macOS and watchOS.
