97 ZOK To Give One Rockford High School Freshman A Chance To ‘Be A ZJ’

Have you ever wanted to be a 97 ZOK DJ for a day? We're giving one Rockford area high school freshman a chance.

97 ZOK will be at the 2015 Academy Expo tomorrow inside the BMO Harris Bank Center where high school freshman from the Rockford, Belvidere, Harlem and Hononegah school districts will be in attendance.

Students that visit the 97 ZOK booth at the expo will have a chance to audition for 97 ZOK's "Wanna Be A ZJ" contest.

Here are the contest details:

• Stop by the 97 ZOK booth at the expo.
• We'll give you a number, a script and you'll do your thing.
• We'll then select one student from each of the nine high schools in attendance.
• Beginning October 26, 97 ZOK listeners will be asked to vote to see who will be a 97 ZOK DJ for a day.
• The winning student will co-host one morning show with Steve Shannon and Mandy James during their winter break.
