Illinois Zoos Get in on Cutest Twitter War of All Time

Thanks to President Donald Trump (still not used to saying that by the way; it's like writing 2016 on your checks, even though it's been 2017 for nearly a month already) we've heard Twitter mentioned in the news a lot lately.

His Twitter feuds with the media, fellow politicians and celebrities have provided us with moments of laughter, anger, frustration and disbelief. But there's one battle on his favorite social media site that he can't win; and that's the battle over which zoo has the cutest baby animals.

According to WGN TV, it all started last week when the Smithsonian's National Zoo tweeted this:

Dawwwww. It didn't take long for other zoos and aquariums to respond with pics of their own baby animals; starting a back-and-forth of what would go down as the #CuteAnimalTweetOff.

Chicago's Lincoln Park and Brookfield Zoo chimed in with some fierce and furry competitors of their own.

No one's really sure if there was an official winner but does it even matter? They're all the cutest.
