Every blood donation has the potential to save 3 lives and you never know when that life could be someone you love or your own.

There are a few factors that have caused the Rock River Valley Blood Center's (RRVBC) supply to dwindle. One of RRVBC's mobile donor units is out of service cause delays and cancellations of recent blood drives, according to mystateline.com. The center needs 25 units of O Negative blood daily in order to keep hospitals supplied, and yesterday, RRVBC only collected 14 units.
