For a decade, boys at Corona del Mar High School in California have been holding a prom "draft." They get suited up as if they were drafting a sports team, and choose their dance dates.

I was doing a little more learning how to walk in the 80s than hanging around high school, so I'm probably the least prepared for our Totally Retro Prom this May, but that might make me the most excited. I've got 9 1/2 weeks to figure all this stuff out and I'm starting by tackling 80s slang.

Well isn't that just adorable. Teens across the country are "promposing" to their hopeful prom dates. I had no idea they were so romantic.
