Netflix Drops ’13 Reasons Why’ Season 3: See How Fans Reacted
13 Reasons Why is back for Season 3 and fans are already sharing their reactions via Twitter.
On Friday (August 23), Netflix dropped all 13 episodes of the series, which picks up where the trailer leaves off. It centers around the investigation into Bryce Walker's death and the introduction of a new character named Ani Achola. However, early reviews suggest fans don't think either was a good idea.
"As the mystery of his death engulfs the town, there are numerous suspects in focus," Netflix's official description reads. "But were any of them truly capable of murder? And who is the new girl? Police are determined to get to the truth, but with a web of secrets and lies this tangled, will anyone be found guilty?"
Without spoiling anything for those who haven't had the time to binge-watch yet, the internet has agreed on a few things: They don't like Ani, who is also the show's new narrator, and they're not here for Bryce's "redemption" story.
Check out some Twitter reactions, below:
Many have questioned why 13RW needed a third season in the first place, while others wondered why they're still watching despite the show's obvious digression. People also pointed out that the series isn't even about mental health awareness anymore like it promised it would be when it first premiered in 2017.
13 Reasons Why will return for a fourth and final season next year.
