The 2019 MTV VMAs are just a few days away and while we wait for music's hottest night of the year, here's everything you need to know about the show, including who's hosting, who's performing and more!

Just like every year, the show will feature performances by a number of A-list artists, including Taylor Swift, who is expected to debut her new song "Cruel Summer" off her Lover album. We're also anxious to see if rumored couple Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello will sing  "Senorita" together for the first time.

As for who's expected to take home the coveted Moon Person award, Swift and Ariana Grande lead the pack with 10 nominations each, while Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X are close behind with nine and eight nods, respectively.

Missy Elliott, who is also expected to perform, will receive the prestigious Video Vanguard Award, which is MTV's version of a Lifetime Achievement Award. It recognizes her innovative music videos over the last two decades.
