Even though tomorrow is Wine Wednesday, I have some bad news to share.

Someone mustn't be all that enthused about celebrating in Chicago because the story coming out of the Windy City is dismaying.

A crash involving two semi-trucks scattered hundreds of bottles of wine on a freeway in Chicago.

The accident occurred early Tuesday morning on the Bishop Ford Freeway.

One person had minor injuries as a result of the crash, Illinois State Police said.

At least no one was seriously injured during the kerfuffle. However, to see that many bottles of wine go down without nary a soul to save them and pour the remains into an oversized wine glass has left me feeling like a real opportunity was missed.

Despite the amount of wine the Bishop Ford Freeway drank early Tuesday night, if it were to take a breathalyzer, I'd believe it would be deemed OK to drive.
