5 Of The Most Gorgeous Sunflower Gardens Are Right Here In Illinois
I was recently on Good Day Stateline's "Happiness Week." We talked all about beautiful sunflowers and tried some delicious vitamin gummies to kick it off!
I've never actually been to a sunflower field before, so I asked a bunch of friends if they've been to some! They didn't disappoint, So many people sent me suggestions on places near Rockford and further. If I've been curious about visiting one of these fields I know you're just as interested. Your summer is going to get even better now that you have another adventure to cross off your bucket list with friends!
Here are 5 of the most gorgeous sunflower fields you can find in Illinois!
#1: Keller's Farmstand - Oswego, IL
"Family Owned & Operated since 1991. Growing high-quality flowers in SPRING, vegetables & sweet corn in SUMMER, apples & pumpkins in FALL."
Keller's has over 3 acres of land to explore and their sunflower field just opened to the public! They're expected to have over 60,000 sunflowers, it's going to be incredible to visit them this summer.
#2: Life Bible Church - Pecatonica, IL
The awesome perk of going to visit this breathtaking sunflower field is it's FREE! It's 100% free to also pick sunflowers to take home with you. The church invites everybody to stop by before they're gone.
#3: Von Bergen's Country Market - Hebron, IL
Opening day is July 15th. They'll have so many flowers blooming all summer! I'm in love with the swing they have in the middle of the sunflower field, one of the best photo opportunities I've seen so far.
#4: Kuiper's Family Farm - Maple Park, IL
Wow, just looking at their website they have events and attractions going on all year around. Looks like a beautiful place to visit outside of the sunflower field, too!
"Over 7 acres of 20+ different sunflower varieties in the fields. Come stroll through the flowers, take photos and enjoy the beautiful scenery of a late-summer farm day!"
#5: Skelley's Farm Market - Janesville, WI
Okay, it's not in Illinois, but I have a ton of friends who live near Wisconsin and voted this as one of the best! This is their 5th year having the spectacular sunflower attraction. They have over 5 acres of yellow beauties to walk amongst and have adorable photo stations along the route!
