I was taking a look at the forecast for the next couple of days; it's absolutely perfect. Nothing but sunshine with highs in the upper 70s. Which is exactly what warm weather lovers have been waiting for for months.

Or should I say "itching" for? If you've been itching to get you and the family outdoors then I suggest you add these 5 Rockford events to your summer "Itch List."

    Old Settlers Days

We don't always talk about country music, but when we do, it's Old Settlers Days. From June 15th through the 18th, enjoy rides, games, fair food and live country music at Settlers Park in Rockton. OSD is the largest fundraiser for the Rockton Lions Club. The profits from this event are then given back to the community via various donations. Visit OldSettlersDays.com for tickets.
