A Million Slices Of Bacon Up For Grabs At This Weekend’s NASCAR Race

Forgive my ignorance when it comes to NASCAR racing. Really, I have no idea.

However, I do know bacon. I know everything is better with bacon and because of that suddenly I'm a huge Aric Almirola fan.

I guess Almirola is a NASCAR driver, and he races in the Smithfield car. If you don't know, Smithfield is one of the world's top pork producers and apparently very interested in cars that go fast.

I am now too considering Smithfield plans on giving away 1,000,000 slices of bacon this weekend if Almirola takes the checkered flag at the 1000bulbs.com 500 this Sunday, October 13.

Almirola won the 1000bulbs.com race at Talladega last year and considering this is the race Smithfield is backing with the bacon, there's a very good chance he could repeat, but who knows, it's racing. Rubbin's racin'. Shake n' Bake.

Movie quotes aside, here's what I do know. If Almirola wins this Sunday, 10 people will split 1,000,000 pieces of bacon. Enough bacon to probably get me through another 10 or so viewings of Talladega Nights.
