Meet the Apple Puppies!

These six Shepherd/Husky mix puppies are only nine weeks old and already stealing hearts across Rockford. I mean, look at them! They're so, so, so cute.

Their names are just as cute: Fuji, McIntosh, Honeycrisp, Ambrosia, Gala, and Granny Smith. They came from a local accidental litter, which happens more often than we realize. Luckily, Noah's Ark stepped in to make sure these babies are cared for and find their furever homes!

Being a Shepherd/Husky mix, that means they're super active, have high energy, and need a family that has the patience for everything from socializing, to long walks, lots of playtime, training, and keep up on grooming maintenance. If you're looking for a furbaby that's a couch potato or doesn't require a lot of attention, these pups might not be for you. But if you've got the space, energy and love to give, they could be the perfect companions.

Adoptions opened at noon on Wednesday, October 1st, and Noah's Ark is encouraging anyone interested to review their adoption requirements and submit an application online ahead of time. Plus, bring any current dogs along for a meet-and-greet before adopting.
