Airbus & Uber Partnering to Create Uber with Helicopters

Got to get there but don't want to drive, call Uber. Got to get there but you're too good for  roads, call UberChopper.

According to the Wall Street Journal, for this 'pilot project', Airbus will provide helicopters to Uber to establish an On Demand helicopter service. The service will debut at the Sundance Film Festival. This also wouldn't be the first time that Uber has used helicopters to move people around. UberChopper was at the Cannes Film Festival, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, and even between Manhattan and the Hamptons.

I've used Uber before and I love how inexpensive and safe the rides have been. While the UberChopper rides will still be safe, they won't be cheap. In the past, Uber has charged in the hundreds to thousands range.
