Another Rockford Driver Losing Patience At A Red Light
I don't know why so many people think it's okay to disobey the rules of the road.
Just last month, I was sitting at stoplight at the intersection of Parkview Avenue and Spring Creek Road, headed Eastbound. I'm in the far-right lane waiting to go straight so I can turn right onto Highcrest Road. The person directly to my left needed to turn onto Parkview but didn't signal to let me know they wanted to merge. So, they just cut in front of me, turned right, at the same time the light turns green.
Here's that video.

Just a few days ago, I'm at the exact same light, same lane, waiting for the light to turn green when another driver does the exact same thing! I'm not sure whether people are just super impatient and need to get to work or they've realized last minute they needed to turn onto Parkview, but this has gotta stop.

This intersection already is pretty dangerous with people coming off the ramp from N. Second and trying to merge into Eastbound traffic. Now we're making up our own rules? Nice.
To anyone who thinks it's "not a big deal", it could really lead to an accident. What if I decided to turn as they cut me off? Then we'd both be totally late to our destinations. Plus, doing it at 5am or 6am is diabolical in itself.
I was so irritated I forgot to clip the video from my Dash Cam. You get the point, though. Rockford drivers, do better. Don't be that person!!!
