The state of Illinois is known for it's financial struggles. However, now that the budget has been approved, Illinois residents can feel better about working for the state. The signed plan includes wage increase for state workers. This year 37 Illinois businesses even made the Fortune 500 List. So things are looking up.
So, where should you start applying? Well, lets break it down. Here's the top 10, spoiler alert, Rockford didn't crack the top 10, or 50.
So... where did Rockford Fall? Well, we're #99, but out of 121! It's okay, my hometown Barrington didn't even make the list. Some honorable mentions include Belvedere at #68, Machesney Park at #69, and Loves Park at #78.
But hey, Rockford is an amazing City to work in, and you know what they say, if you do what you love you'll never work a day in your life.
