Mexican Restaurant In Illinois Serves One Of America’s Best Margaritas

Who knew residents in Belvidere, Illinois have been gatekeeping one of the tastiest margaritas in the Stateline?

My neighbor and I have weekly lunch dates at different restaurants I have never been to before.  This time around, he picked De Juan in Belvidere, Illinois.

He texted me saying De Juan has the best margaritas.  I like to call him my Foodie Tour Guide because I have never been disappointed in his recommendations haha.

Mind you, I never order margaritas because I don't care for tequila.  After this trip to De Juan I think I've changed my mind.

Just take a second and look at how refreshing our frozen raspberry margaritas looked.  They tasted even more scrumptious and we downed them in like 3 minutes.

They had a full menu of food to choose from, too.  I was so indecisive and ended up choosing a Chilanga with fries that absolutely HIT.  THE.  SPOT.

The Chilanga has mayonnaise, tomato, onion, bacon, ham, jalapenos, avocado, and melted cheese.  Didn't know it was the burger I needed in my life.
