Any woman who's ever had professional photos taken has the same request- Photoshop everything. At least that's been my experience. It's the only reason boudoir photography is at the top of my bucket list. For a couple of hours you get to feel glamourous and sexy; knowing that the photographer has the tools to take away all of your flaws.  That's precisely why I hate being photographed; I can see everything in every snap. Ever look at a photo and instantly see nothing but that double chin or fat roll?

That's exactly what one woman wanted removed, along with her cellulite, stretch marks, and wrinkles, from her boudoir photos that she had taken for her husband; whom she had been with since she was 18. She was also a size 18 and all she wanted for one day was to be gorgeous. The photographer, who was just starting her photography business, honored her request and turned her into "the epitome of what every woman dreams of being."; which she now regrets.

The photographer, Victoria Caroline Halton, took to her Facebook page to acknowledge that she had made a big mistake. The woman gave her photos to her husband for Christmas and the husband wasn't pleased. He wrote Halton an email to complain about the photos and she shared it with her clients and now the world.

You will need some tissues for this one.

This letter completely changed my perspective on not just how I look at myself but on my relationship, as well. Women tend to forget that we don't see ourselves as others see us; we see things that our husbands and boyfriends don't see. It's hard to imagine what we look like through someone else's eyes. How do they not see what we see? But when you're feeling insecure and you notice all those flaws, remember, he doesn't.

Guys, in the same token, let this letter be a reminder to you how important it is to remind your woman that she's beautiful and that you appreciate her. Most of us feel like you do want the younger, more attractive model and if you're not making us feel secure and loved just the way we are, a lot of us will drive ourselves crazy trying to be what we THINK you want.

I think the photographer summed this subject up best with a note to women: our loved ones cherish and adore us just the way we are...and in case no one has told you already- you're beautiful.
