Did you see the eight-eyed wolf spider that likes to sneak into peoples' homes? It will come in, bite you, and eventually, you'll turn into a B-level superhero.

Just kidding. These ugly spiders don't care about you, they want to be warm and eat the bugs in your house.

"Hold my web..." - Orb Weaver

Someone in Belvidere, Illinois shared a photo of a terrifying spider living its best life on their garage paneling. If it had been me in their place I would have opted for a shoe (or any hard object) and smashed it to pieces and then did research on what I just destroyed.

A brave soul opted for a photo of this satanic-looking monster versus burning their garage to the ground. They wanted to know what it was and maybe want to know if they needed to grab a blowtorch.

I don't care what anyone says, that thing crawled here straight from hell.

If you spot this grotesque Araneida, refrain from smashing the (censored) out of it because it's not as bad as it appears, according to experts. (What do they know, anyway?)

First of all, if you spot one of these and it's not spinning a web, it's probably a female. Males spin webs, look for mates and then die after mating. As far as the 'dangers"?

Orb weavers are very docile, non-aggressive spiders that will flee at the first sign of a threat (typically they will run or drop off the web). They are not dangerous to people & pets, and are actually quite beneficial because they will catch and eat a lot of pest-type insects. (Wildlife Heritage Foundation)

They may have a purpose but I'm still not going to be their friend.
