Cartoon Backpacks Look Like Paper, But They’re Real [PHOTO]

Optical illusion backpacks are the new trend.

I can't tell if these are the coolest thing ever or if the weirdness is too much, but I do know I want to see one in person.

A Taiwan-based company, JumpFromPaper.com, is selling backpacks and bags that look like they are one-dimensional drawings pulled straight from newspaper cartoons, but they're actual 'in real life' bags.

The company wants you to be whimsical and fun, I think they're doing a pretty good job of bringing whimsy to the backpack world.

They are not cheap, so I doubt I'll be purchasing one anytime soon. The backpacks start at $89. They do sell wallets and smaller bags and purses too, which are a little cheaper, around $30.
