The Interactive Map Tracking Big Mac Prices Nationwide
Obviously, I had to see just how much the priciest Big Mac is in Rockford, and to be honest, I was kind of impressed. For the most part, besides a dime more here or there, the sandwich is pretty appropriately priced.
However, one McDonald's stood out as the cheapest, and it's at 6000 North 2nd Street in Loves Park. There, a Big Mac will run you $4.49, according to recent data.

Where to Find the Most Expensive Big Mac in the Rockford Area
If you're hunting for the most expensive one in the Rockford area, head to Belvidere and check out the McDonald's at 5111 Pearl Street, where a Big Mac costs $6.00. I think I can see why it's a bit pricier, considering this restaurant is at the Belvidere Oasis.
Some of us drive a few extra minutes for cheaper gas. Apparently, this map says it's worth doing the same for lunch.
