Christmas Time Returns to Belvidere’s Summerfield Zoo
Being socially distant won't ruin the fun at Summerfield Zoo this holiday season. It's time to celebrate with the entire family.
Christmas Town has returned to Belvidere's Summerfield Zoo, located at 3088 Flora Rd. There are some small changes to keep things safe for everyone, but you'll still be able to enjoy all the family favorites, like visiting Santa’s Reindeer Barn with Santa’s entire sleigh team of reindeer.
Throughout the zoo, you will be required to wear a mask or face covering in areas when you are either unable to maintain 6 foot distancing or are inside. On Saturdays and Sundays, Santa will be available for socially distanced pictures and visits. You'll also be able to attend Baby Reindeer Flight School.

Christmas Town at Summerfield Zoo will be open from 3-6 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
The zoo will also be open Dec. 21, 22 and 23 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
