News broke today regarding the return of Circuit City but will it return to the Forest City?

According to Engadget, the electronics chain appears to be making a comeback.

This is huge news considering Circuit City had filed for bankruptcy in 2008 closing all stores soon after including the E. State location.

News of this is pretty surprising, but before we start helping move the "only open in October" Halloween store out of the old Circuit City you need to know what is actually going to happen first.

At this time, there are only plans to open one store. That store will open in Dallas, Texas. The store will open in June and word is Circuit City has "the support of many major brands, including Canon, Intel and Sony, after holding successful meetings at CES 2016."

The big difference between the 2016 Circuit City and early 2000s Circuit City will be who they are targeting marketing-wise.

The new store will be aimed towards millennials featuring 3D printers and all the cool stuff millennials care about.

Problem is, the store is still called Circuit City. Nothing sounds more old and outdated than a place that makes me think of wires and cassette tapes.

That said, I think there's a better chance Best Buy on Perryville closes its doors before there's a rebirth of Circuit City in Rockford.
