Illinois’ Coolest Hotspot for Drinks is 1000 Feet in the Air
The cocktails and the menu are a tribute to the Windy City featuring an unmatched view of one of America's most extraordinary places to be entertained.
Chicago's Highest Bar
Regarding just altitude, there is no other place to grab drinks that can offer you what CloudBar at 360 Chicago can. I'm pretty freaked out by heights, so a seat too close to the window would not be a fun experience. That doesn't mean I don't want to at least take a look out the window to see Chicago from this angle. One-thousand feet, straight up into the clouds above the city.
360 Chicago Observation Deck
At 875 N. Michigan Ave, what was formerly known as the John Hancock Center, 360 Chicago, has done something with quite the 'wow' factor to the observation deck on the 94th floor. CloudBar just opened its doors on September 14, so you have the chance to be one of the first to check this place out.
Things are just beginning on their socials, just a few Instagram posts as of the writing of this story, and their small Facebook community is on the rise (bad pun intended).
CloudBar designed drink and food menus that pay homage to each of Chicago's 77 neighborhoods, according to NBCChicago.com.
A true taste of Chicago was the goal, whether it was cocktails or something to eat.
CloudBar is open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm and a ticket is needed for the observation deck in order to gain entry to CloudBar. The tickets are $30 and you can buy them online at 360chicago.com/cloudbar.
If you missed the cool extra feature of the CloudBar vibe, scroll back and take a look at the ceiling in each of these photos.
The mirrors on the ceiling are a great touch to a bar this high over the Windy City.
