
Massive Crab Leg Platter in Rockford Is a Seafood Lover’s Dream
If there's one thing I will never apologize for, it's eating crab legs in public like I'm at home eating alone. I'm going to get messy. I'm going to splash butter on my shirt. It's inevitable.
I love crab legs. The butter. The lime. The work I have to put in to crack the shell—it's a whole experience I'll never get enough of. So, when I saw this restaurant in Rockford had a gigantic platter of crab legs for less than $100, I had to try it.

I have been looking for some really good crab legs in Rockford but nowhere has been that good to make me come back for more, until now. I 100% believe I have found the best crab legs in Rockford, and it's at the most unsuspecting place.

It took a quick Google search to find these bad boys.
"Crab legs near me" was all it took find end up at Isla Del Mar in Rockford. It's on Kishwaukee Street! Now, I've been here before but didn't even know they had a seafood game like this.

There were two sizes to choose from: small and large. Plus, it comes with a bowl of limes and butter. Yup, all the goods!
When the server asked if I wanted the small, I said, "Oh no, the large, please."
She looked at me and said, "LARGE?"
Yes, large. All for me.
When it arrived, I couldn't believe how big the platter was. Seriously, I've never seen so many crab legs on one plate in my entire life. It did not disappoint, that's for sure.

To think you can find this kind of seafood in Rockford is crazy... the best I've found in the Stateline. Red Lobster, Storming Crab, and any all-you-can-eat buffets also made my list, but nothing has quite compared to this.
