This is a step in the right direction for the Cubs. 

A quick flashback to one month ago when Cubs owner Tom Ricketts addressed the Cubs convention about the new Marquee Network:

Obviously there's a desire to get the new network in homes.

This Hulu deal is a good start but the big fish is still out there and that is Comcast. There's no deal in place for the biggest cable provider and it doesn't look like it will happen soon.

The network is slated to start this Saturday and it looks like Comcast customers, along with YouTube and Dish Network subscribers, will be in the dark.
