Wine Wednesday just got a whole lot cuter.

Here's the thing. I don't wait until Wednesday to drink wine. In fact I'm drinking wine right now as I write this on my couch on a Monday night, but wine is a little more fun to drink with friends at a winery.

And if your friends happen to be four-legged, well then you're in luck because (one of my faves) DC Estate Winery is bringing us BYOD Wednesday starting June 5.

The first Wednesday of the summer months, you can bring your pup to DC Estate, as long as they are on their leash and you are, you know, like a good dog owner.

Despite my very clever title, you can't actually allow your dog to drink any wine at BYOD Wednesday... but I tell ya, if they created a Puppy Pinot, it would fly off the shelves. Non-alcohlic of course.

Now, if you happen to hate spending time with dogs or are super allergic, you'll want to avoid DC Estate on the following Wednesdays: June 5, July 3 and August 7.
