Electronics. You love them, you can't live without them, and you can't go to sleep with them in the same room with you. Every night when I'm in a deep slumber, my husband, Jon thinks he's being stealthy by watching Netflix next to me in bed, when in all reality, he should be asleep. I really don't think he could go to sleep without having his "down time." Many of us need that time, but it really does effect your body more than you know.

The National Sleep Foundation says that the light from devices trick your body into thinking it's day time, thus stopping it from producing a hormone that helps you sleep.

So, how can you do both...enjoy your I-Pad before bed, and have a good nights sleep? Give yourself an electronic curfew, one hour before bed. I think that's harder said then done.
