In Rockford, here are some dog-friendly restaurant patios.

Pets

I believe pets are good for people. They are excellent companions. I think you are missing out if you do not have an animal in your life at some point no matter how big or small.

I grew up with dogs. My family owned Alaskan Malamutes. Now, we have cats which I also enjoy having around.

Hanging With Our Pets

I joke about putting our cat on a leash and taking her for a walk. That would be interesting. Something tells me that would not work out.

As a kid, I always took my dog for a walk. It was a nice relaxing activity.

Unfortunately, they were bigger dogs and many people are intimidated by them, so I could not bring them to many places with me. Plus, not a lot of businesses let pets in like nowadays.

I have friends that bring their dogs anywhere that will allow them in.

Recently, a co-worker of mine inherited a dog from his grandmother who passed away. He has been bringing him to the radio station. Its name is Max. He likes to wander around the building. Everybody loves that cute little dog.

A few of us go out to lunch on Fridays and with the weather getting better, we planning on hitting some patios. We thought it would be fun to bring Max along with us.

I did a little research to find out which restaurants are dog-friendly on their patios. If you own a dog, I think you will find this list useful too.

Dog-Friendly Patios In Rockford

Of course, I figured a good place to start is on the internet. Here are some locations according to Yelp.

I suggest calling before heading to the restaurant just to double-check, so your puppy is not disappointed.

That is a pretty good place to start. If you know of any more, please let us know.
