One of the best events in the Tri-States is back Blues in the District starts June 9th, and this year there is an official after-party to each Blues in the District, a party that will keep the drinks and the live music flowing!

State Street Theater posted on their Facebook page that they are the official "after party" sight for each of The District's iconic Blue in the District concerts this summer. In the post on the State Street Theater's Facebook page, they say...

"We are so excited to be partnering with The District for our After Blues after parties at the State Street Theater. After every Blues in the District concert this summer, head on over to the theater for music, drinks and a great atmosphere. We hope to see you there."

If you don't know State Street Theater has recently reopened under new owners and management as a part of the Calf Town development at the corn of 8th and State in Quincy, and they are hosting live music and have a full bar each Friday night this summer, and officially are the after-party spot for each on of the Blues in the District concerts that begin this Friday (June 9th) and are every other Friday through summer.

Personally, I love that the State Street Theater is going to be the after-party spot for Blues, people are always looking to keep the good times going after a Blues in the District concert, and the massive, and beautiful State Street Theater space is the perfect spot for that!
