Bombs Away! What Did An Eagle Drop On An Illinois Woman’s Car?
I'm going to tell you right now, the photos below might make you naucious. I am not embellishing and I'm not misleading. There will be close ups that makes me queasy just thinking about.
NATURE IS WILD
Nature is beautiful and interesting. Watching wildlife in its natural setting can be entertaining and education. Some of the best areas for seeing intriguing animals in Illinois are along rivers and through forests. For me, I get joy every day when I drive along Route 2 in that weird in-between space between Rockford and Byron, Illinois.
Along Route 2, just west of S. Main Street, there is a bald eagle nest on the southside of the road just before the first curve with guard rails. It's much easier to see during winter and early spring months.
NATURE CAN BE GROSS
Despite how beautiful and majestic nature may be it can also be disgusting. There's the obvious roadkill that might make you feel sick, the smell of a skunk, or the sight of animals eating other animals.
That final point leads us to this moment and, again, you may want to move on to another article. Things are about to get ugly.
A woman was on driving along River Road when she noticed an eagle flying really low to the ground directly at her. She was obviously startled but little did she know what was coming her way.
She didn't hit the bird. Instead, the bird dropped an unpleasant gift onto her Jeep's windshield.
