When you picture the small town of Rockton, Illinois, what do you see?

You probably see what most of us see- a quaint and quiet downtown with adorable store fronts and delicious ice cream, children riding their bikes down a stretch of Rockton Road past schools and historic homes, and families gathering at Settler's Park for food and music throughout the summer.

To many in Northern Illinois, it's the best bedroom community in the Rockford area to settle down and raise a family; but to others, living there has been a racist nightmare.

Anthony Jenkins shared these disturbing images on his Facebook page and he says he has a lot more to say about the experiences he's had in his neighborhood.

Jenkins shared some of his experience with WIFR who says four juveniles have been arrested for vandalizing homes and vehicles, and spray painting vulgar words on garages in the Pine Croft subdivision.

It's just hard to believe that something like this is taking place in our communities; it's sad, inexcusable and many residents are wondering what will happen next for the 4 kids responsible.
