On June 30, 2019 many people in the Stateline had to spend most of the day without power in their homes, and now ComEd is trying to help ease some of the financial losses suffered due to the outage.

The Associated Press is reporting that ComEd has announced they are now accepting claims from people who lost money on repairs, spoiled food, etc. caused by the power outages that took place on June 30th.

One thing to keep in mind before you file a claim is; you must provide proof of financial loss in order to qualify for a reimbursement. This proof can be receipts, repair invoices,  pictures, and any other documentation of the damage caused by the power outage.

To get the claims process started, go to comed.com/claims to download a form that needs to be filled out and sent to ComEd's Claims Department.
