Go-To Food Spots in Rockford You Can’t Stay Away From

We all have that one restaurant.  You know the one!  Every time you say you're going to branch out and try something new, you somehow end up pulling into the same parking lot, ordering the same meal, and wondering why you even bothered considering other options for hours.

It happens to the best of us.

Trust me on that.

Maybe it's the comfort of knowing exactly what you're getting.  Maybe it's the friendly staff who recognize you when you walk through the door (me at Pho Square!).  Or maybe the food is just that good.

I can't tell you how many times I've said, "Tonight we're trying something different."  Then 20 minutes later I'm standing in line at my usual spot ordering my favorite meal like I haven't eaten it a hundred times before.

There's something super comforting about having a go-to restaurant.  In a world where new places are constantly opening, menus are always changing, and social media is convincing us to try the latest food trend, it's nice to have a place you can count on; food you know you'll enjoy every time.
