Less than a week away from Thanksgiving... and you have nothing to add one of the best foodie holidays? I have the easiest thing you can bring to dinner.

Whether you're trying to impress your future mother-in-law, get out of making something difficult, or wondering what your kids can help you with, the answer is honey butter.

All you need is a stick of butter, a bear of honey, and a hand mixer.

Take a stick of butter out of the refrigerator when you wake up next Thursday morning. Leave it on the counter for a few hours until it's softish, almost spreadable. When you're ready, put the butter in a mixing bowl and grab your honey. Squeeze as much honey on top of the butter as you want. I don't think I've ever measured this, but it's always tasted pretty fantastic. Just don't use the whole jar... maybe a tablespoon or two, turn on your mixer and just keep going until it's smooth.

Then, you're done. It's a holiday, so probably pick out something fancy to serve it in, or buy a container and put a bow on it. Perfectly delicious and easy hostess gift.
