When can society go back to making jokes on social media without backlash? Former Chicago Bear Kicker Jay Feely (albeit one game) learned you can't joke about guns in any way, shape, or form. In my opinion, he did nothing wrong except realize that society, or a group of social media users, are really sensitive - especially about guns.

In the picture Jay Feely tweeted, he's posing with this daughter and her prom date while holding an unloaded gun. No harm, no foul. But, again, this my opinion.

Are we living in a world where fathers can't joke about buying a gun when their daughter is born? Does that make us bad parents? The answer is - no. Sure, guns are an extremely sensitive subject in today's world but Jay Feely is a legal gun owner and stresses the firearm was not loaded. His joke does not make him a bad person.
