Former Packers Great Expected To Suddenly Retire
A Green Bay Packers great is getting ready to hang up the cleats if reports are true.
Scott Gulbransen on Twitter is saying Jordy Nelson, who played for the Green Bay Packers from is retiring.
His cryptic tweet says, "Jordy Nelson done? Hmmm...."
Nelson spent nine seasons in Green Bay. His current team, the Oakland Raiders are sitting at a dreadful 1-8 and are showing no signs of any life. Nelson's exit may have to do more with his current situation than whether or not he can still go.
Regardless, Nelson's NFL comes to a close as one of Aaron Rodgers favorite targets. Nelson compiled 575 receptions, 8,201 yards, and 72 touchdowns during his 11-year football career.
