Some of these scenes might be better than the original.

With the Oscars just a few weeks away, Cinefix has gathered a bunch of kids to reenact scenes from best picture nominees.

The video starts with a bearded kid doing his best "American Sniper" complete with a nod to the fake baby at the end.

The "Grand Budapest Hotel" scene played out exactly what we were all thinking about Zero, "this lobby boy sure does a lot more than carry bags."

The Stephen Hawking "Theory of Everything" is pretty good too. While it's pretty short, it is effective.

Michael Keaton's character in "Birdman" makes me wonder the same thing that was tackled in this quick scene. Is "Batman" really the reason why he took the role?

"The Imitation Game" is super cute and funny. The way that the kid side steps the "your girlfriend" line and messes with his tie is great.

The scene in "Selma" brings up Oprah's appearance in the actual film. I love it.

"Boyhood" explains the small differences noticed in the movie from the adult actors perfectly.

Finally "Whiplash" had to be the most fun clip for them to produce. It shows one kid portraying J.K. Simmons relentless instructor yelling at another kid who is just banging on the drums.

The video is s a good watch, and it just makes me that much more excited to see the Oscars on Sunday, February 22.
