‘GIF’ vs. ‘JIF': How To Say It Correctly [VIDEO]

I am so glad I ran across this today. Steve Shannon and I have talked about this for a few years now.

GIF is short for Graphics Interchange Format. The web has made them ultra popular thanks it's wide support and portabilty.

One thing that is more popular than the GIF, is the discussions on how to actually say the word itself.

I've been in the 'JIF' camp for a few years now. Steve Shannon on the other hand, goes with 'GIF."

So how do you say it the right way?

It doesn't really matter how you pronounce it, I love GIF's. I actually use them in text messages to explain how I feel about things, it's like a shorthand for pop-culture and movie nerds.
