Guy Gets Dumped, Wants To Take Random Woman on Honeymoon, For a Price

Before the Internet, we all kind of thought these guys existed, but we weren't totally sure.

John Whitbread was engaged. He's not anymore, but he's still going on his honeymoon and looking for a travel partner.

Where have I heard a story like this before... oh yeah, that other guy who was dumped and was looking for any woman named Elizabeth Gallagher to take his ex-girlfriend's place on the trip across the world, but that guy was taking the random girl for free.

John Whitbread is making women pay to go on his trip with him, through eBay.

There are seven days left for bidding, and he has 39 inquiries. I've been talking about this guy with some guys over here at ZOK who think that if this man was a woman, she would have hundreds, maybe thousands of inquiries and the bids would be much higher than that.

Double standard? Or amazing idea?
