Halloween Pop-Up Experience Haunting Chicago Suburb

Like The Haunting website says "Halloween has never been so fun!"

Now through November 3, The Haunting: An Interactive Halloween Experience is taking over The Gallery, 480 Ring Drive in Vernon Hills.

The Haunting is a Halloween themed art installation created by a collaborative of artists, set designers, sound designers and more. Unlike a Haunted House, The Haunting allows you to walk into and immerse yourself into the world of Halloween. Touching all of the senses, The Haunting is an exhibit that strives to intrigue, inspire and immerse all that enter - Nothing in this exhibit is here to frighten you, but rather here to unlock a world of creativity centered around the spookiest time of the year!

Perfect for those afraid of haunted houses but want some Halloween in their lives.  The Haunting website says there are no "pop-outs, jump scares or live actors."

Folks going to The Haunting are allowed to bring their camera with them meaning there's probably some really Instagrammable moments.

Tickets for kids under five are $9.99, 5-12 are $19.99 and adults are $24.99.
